Nico Liedorp (1950-2012), Dutch sculptor and designer of diverse monumental steel sculptures for both public and private spaces and objects for private collections. He studied Sculpture at the Art colleges in Breda and Rotterdam.

He worked mostly with stainless steel, sometimes applying a combination of brass / bronze and acrylate. Balance and perfection often played a central role in his compositions. An important distinguishing characteristic in his objects was simplicity, but on closer inspection they are extremely refined structures. Nico was a master in lathing and polishing techniques. His broad knowledge of materials and design led to a perfect end result. Besides divergent sculptures, Nico has also designed articles / objects, awards, business gifts and special particulars.
